From stepping back in time visiting historical settlements and understanding how our region came to be at both the Joseph Schneider Haus and Doon Heritage Crossroads to acting like a kid again in our new Waterloo Regional Children’s Museum with rotating exhibits from pop culture to dinosaurs there’s a lot to see and experience. The historical St. Jacobs is located only 20 minutes from our residence with tons of boutique and outlet shopping along with our famous Farmers Market. Stratford and the Stratford Festival is just 40 minutes away with shopping, shows and great dining. Residence & Conference Centre - Kitchener is an ideal location to experience a wide variety of attractions. In order to confirm these bookings we must receive a signed group contract as well as payment of a 50% advance deposit. Once the booking is confirmed the rooms that you have blocked will be held until the cut-off date which is one month before arrival. A rooming list will be required with names, arrival and departure dates and should be forwarded as soon as possible but no later than one month before arrival. Any rooms not reserved prior to this date via a rooming list will be released to the general public. Reservations made after this date are subject to availability. Final payment is required at check out. Methods of payment accepted include cash, certified cheque, money order, bank draft, Visa and MasterCard. Please note that personal cheques are not accepted. For groups who wish to be invoiced a credit application must be completed and returned at least four weeks before arrival date. The credit terms are net 30 days with a service charge of 2% per month on overdue accounts.

A IPA group booking is one where the individual guests pay for all their own room charges. In order to confirm these bookings we must receive a signed group contract. Once the booking is confirmed the rooms that you have blocked will be released into our property management system. At this time all your guests can now phone our property and quote the group name that you have provided us. Our front desk staff will let your guests know what rooms are available and take all their individual information as well as a credit card to guarantee their reservation. Guests will be provided with a confirmation number once their reservation is made and they have up to 24 hours before arrival to cancel this reservation without penalty. First Cut Off Date – 2 months prior to group arrival. The rooms you have blocked will be held until the first cut off date. 50% of any rooms not individually reserved prior to this date will be released to the general public WITHOUT notice. Final Cut Off Date – 1month prior to group arrival. The remaining rooms blocked after the first cut off will be held until the final cut off date. Any remaining rooms not individually reserved prior to this date will be released to the general public WITH notice (1 phone call and/or e-mail) to the group coordinator. Reservations made after the final cut off are subject to availability. Final payment is required at check out.
